The next tournament will be on the map Mendocino County (in the Downloads). It will start on Monday March 17, 00:00 UTC. It ends on Sunday March 30.

The scoring is, the weight of two bucks and one doe (spike and halfrack bucks are not allowed) shot at any time within the time of the tournament. That is, the weight only, not antler score.

The tournament is for all members, good luck everyone.

About this new tournament, when can a blacktail be considered to be heavy?

That's a good question, would indeed be nice if we could complete the WR/RB chart, or make another one, with the max weights for the different species.

Since you asked that, and since you used the shoutbox, which you had to, I realised a mistake I've made, the tournaments have been posted in the Public Board section before, and I had set them to read-only. I moved this topic, and will post future tournament threads, in the team-only section, so we can discuss things about the tournament, in the right place and where it will not go away, like it can in the shoutbox.
Anyway, I'm sure someone can give a good answer to your question soon, I want to know too. Smiley

So, if anyone else has thoughts, questions, or just have something to say about the ongoing tournaments, you can do so here now and in the future. When the tournament is over, it will be moved to Public Board > Tournaments, or Junior Tuurnaments, so every visitor can see what the tournament has been on, and the results.
Let me know if you disagree with these thoughts.

So, those three may be picked up separately (ie. different rounds) within the competition timeperiod?

that is true ktx, you hunt this time as much as you want for the period of time and then send in your two heaviest bucks and your heaviest doe.
