Title: Managing the DH2005 Hybrid Patch Post by: DanthemanBoone on June 26, 2011, 07:55:47 am To install the patch download it from the site link to your desktop. open and run the installer.
If you have installed Dh2005 to another location than C/drive, such as an external disc or hard drive, then you will have to redirect the installer to the DH 2005 game folder by using the browse button before running the installer, or alternatively install to desktop and then manually move the data folder in to your 05 game folder. For those who need to know how to remove the hybrid patch from the game. Open your start menu open My computer Go to your C/drive (or ANY alternative Location such as removable disc, external drive etc.) Go to Program files Go to Atari Go to DH 2005 Go to game. (http://i910.photobucket.com/albums/ac304/Danm60/HybridPatch.jpg) Look for the folder titled 'Data' Do not select the SPK entitled data or the Data 001 file. Simply remove the Data folder by either deleting it or save it to desktop or any other place you may wish to store it. You can manually put the 'Saved' Data folder back in the Dh2005 'game' folder any time if you want to reinstall or use the installer package from site again if you have deleted it. |
