In this tournament there are three maps to hunt on, they can all be downloaded from the Downloads section, in the "DH2005 Tournament Maps" section.
The goals are: On each map, get one half-rack buck (a buck with antlers on one side of the head only), and one other buck (any buck, as long as it is heavy). The score will be the combined weight of all 6 kills. Weapons: Single Shot Pistol or Revolver Season: Rut Expert mode You can hunt on a server online, or in singleplayer, like usual. Good luck! Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: beardy on June 23, 2008, 05:12:26 pm Can we please use bows too? No, the rules are already set, so, as it says, Single Shot Pistol or Revolver. A few tips for them, lie down when shooting with the pistol, it really is not that much different from the rifles, just a little bit more inaccurate at some times, (use a scope, personally I think it's hard to aim the pistol without one), but usually you can shoot things at the same distances with no problem at all. The revolver, aim with the top of the sight, get within 40-50 meters, depending on what you have it set for, and it is extremely accurate, and silent too. Maybe someone else has more tips/hints. Good luck :) Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: deanobuck on June 26, 2008, 02:25:49 am Due to my mum being very ill, i will not be taking part in this tournament, sorry guys but i have commitments with family.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL !!! Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: BettyBackwoods on June 28, 2008, 01:09:42 pm Can we please use bows too? You may feel free to wear whatever you want Chris... bows, lace, dresses, skirts... we uhm... understand uhm... and we'll still be your friends. ;D Kathy Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: BettyBackwoods on June 28, 2008, 01:16:55 pm By the way, did I post that I'm in? Hmmm... Think I forgot.
Well, I'm in. Already have two of three half-racks (one of which weighs just slightly less than a blue whale). One more half-rack and a few bucks which are bigger than a Jackalope and I should be sitting pretty! Kathy Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: BettyBackwoods on June 28, 2008, 01:35:28 pm Hope your mum recovers quickly and completely. In the meantime we'll miss you and look forward to your return.
Best wishes, Kathy Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: Thomas2 UP on June 29, 2008, 05:59:18 pm Can we please use bows too? No, the rules are already set, so, as it says, Single Shot Pistol or Revolver. But - am I wrong, or did it say "all" on weapons the first day it was posted and was edited later? I believe I read that. Title: Re: Triplemap Tournament Post by: Wolverine67 on July 01, 2008, 10:55:12 am Hi! I am in if its Ok :D

But - am I wrong, or did it say "all" on weapons the first day it was posted and was edited later? I believe I read that. No, you are not wrong. I was wrong about some of the details for this tournament, the weapons allowed was one thing, that is why it was later edited, when granddad had seen it. There were a few other edits to the post aswell, as it usually is, to clear everything out. So, that is how it is, what's in the post, are the rules, they can be edited, but usually they shouldn't be, this time it was a "miss in communication" that caused it. Hope there will be a tournament soon that contains the weapons or rules you would like better, then. Hope there will be a tournament soon that contains the weapons or rules you would like better, then. Don't sweat it for me. The thing is that in the time between the first post and the edited one, I shot a big sized buck with my crossbow, thinking it was fit for the competition. That's all. Of course I will follow the rules. This just points out the importance of straight communication.
