Deer Hunter 2005 Hybrid Patch.

                           Making maps

This patch combines the vegetation, the models and the dynamic objects from dh2004
within the dh2005 editor.
After installing the patch to your game, all included dh2004 models will be avaliable in the
dh2005 editor and can be loaded to any new map made on the patched game.

It eliminates the need for custom objects that have been converted from the dh2004 files,
giving a far greater choice to mapmakers wishing to develop richer and more realistic environments
from within the Editor.

Map pack sizes are smaller and maps run faster with none of the usual glitches associated with
custom objects.

Extra custom objects may still be added as before.

Map Makers should add a large Standout..H.. to the bottom right corner of the LoadingBG screen to
differentiate the map from standard maps.
                               
                            Playing the maps

There will be a new section in the hagadoo downloads for V1.2 Hybrid maps.

You will find the Installer for the Hybid patch and the new maps there and they will be
freely available to all registered users.

To play the Hybrid maps you will have to have the Hybrid patch installed on your game.
Otherwise you will get the error message.. Map Not Working..when you try to play a Hybrid map.

You do not need to install the Map editor in your game. With or without makes no Difference
 
It will not affect in any way The playing of standard dh2005 games and you can continue to use them.

It does not change any of the parameters of the v1.2 patch.


                            Release

Some final testing and the making of maps for release is still underway along with uploading to site.
A release date will be announced shortly.


         The patch will Be avalable on Granddads site subject to final approval by Administration.
